The most important thing beginners need learn about forward salto is to KEEP KNEES APART on landing.
BEST have beginners land UP on to a HEIGHT. 😇
WORST is to allow them to chuck it into the foam pit. 😕

World Gymnaestrada 2027 Lisbon
… World Gymnaestrada, the largest event of Gymnastics for All which is held every four years and draws around 20,000 participants. Lisbon, which already hosted the event in 2003, will once again be the place to be for Gymnastics enthusiasts over the coming years.
The Portuguese capital will stage not only the World Gymnaestrada from 11 to 17 July 2027 – the opening and closing ceremonies of which will take place in the Estadio Stadium – but also the World Gym for Life Challenge – the second largest Gymnastics for All event – rom 22 to 26 July 2025. …
