Adult Gymnastics Camp, New Hampshire
July 27 – 29, 2018
Recreational and Competitive Gymnasts gather alongside Beginner gymnasts for 13 hours of instruction, meals out on the town, and a clinic by International Clinician Tony Retrosi of GymMomentum: PUTTING IT TOGETHER–Getting the most out of your drills.

Great interview with coach Sara Baer from Saluki Gymnastics, Carbondale, IL.
My favorite aspect of teaching adults is their excitement about being there, challenging them, and experiencing their joy and surprise when they do something they never thought they could do.
The hardest part about teaching adults is balancing time allocated to improving basic skills, increasing flexibility, and conditioning needed to progress in gymnastics with only one practice a week while introducing new skills so that they don’t get bored.
Sara Baer spills the beans on what it really takes to coach adult gymnasts.
